down the alley & across the tracks

Tea Anyone???

vintage romper, belt, and Liz Claiborne bag; Sam Edelman sandals

There are many interesting things and places to explore in small towns like mine. Take for instance this contraption with the kettle on top...where else in the world would you find an antique like this sitting in an alley other than a small Southern town?
Love the color of this romper. Contemplated shortening the bottom with my brand new sewing machine, but decided I kind of like the classic style of the shorts being longer.
I'm sure to be able to get one or two more posts published (hopefully denim shirt, pt. 2)before we leave on our annual family vacay thurs.-mon. Tell ya all about it later. Good night~

Love your romper.. the color is great! I actually like the length of it as is because like you said, it adds to the classic style factor. I'm so jealous you're going on a vacay.. I'm in dire need of one!

@ damsels- what is that they say about great minds, think alike or something because when i put it on this a.m. I tried that but it's made of rayon and it doesn't stay...thanks for the thought and comment. I think i will go ahead and hem it up in some sort of cuff...

It's Been a while since I've been to your blog ( I'm former author of Vist Your Own Stalker), and I see you're still up to the same chic routine =). I love this on you, the color is gorg. Your town kinda reminds me of my fav place in the world- New Orleans, um aside from Bourbon Street that is. Keep up the good work, I'll be checking in often...
